Julian Whitaker, M.D., graduated from Dartmouth College and received his medical degree from Emory University Medical School. In 1979, after completing post-graduate training in surgery at Emory University Hospital, Dr. Whitaker opened the Whitaker Wellness Institute. His clinic, located in Newport Beach, California, specializes in the treatment of heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, pain syndromes, and other serious health challenges. To date, the six physicians and professional staff at the Whitaker Wellness Institute have helped more than 45,000 patients in their quest for optimal health, utilizing Dr. Whitakers unique approach of patient education and empowerment, diet, exercise, targeted nutritional supplements, and a wide variety of safe, noninvasive therapies. In 2012, Dr. Whitaker and Michael Elam, M.D., founded the Newport Beach Stem Cell Treatment Center to provide patients with yet another cutting-edge, highly effective therapy for improving their health and well-being.

Dr. Yung Chens passion for his patients has led him down the path that combines his extensive training in cosmetic medicine and anti-aging therapies. Dr. Chen is committed to delivering the best possible results for his patients, offering expertise in a number of surgical and non-surgical procedures. He is an active member of American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine as well as California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. As technology continues to advance, Dr. Chen stays abreast of the latest procedures and advancement by attending conferences on a regular basis. As the medical director of Cupertino Medical Laser Center as well as Silicon Valley Stem Cell Center, Dr. Chen strives to provide his patients with the best-customized treatment that is specifically for them. Dr. Terence Delaney is a orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine & joint replacement surgery in Los Gatos, CA.

Dr. Delaney received his M.D. from New York Medical College in 1986 and went on to do a surgical internship at St. Lukes Hospital/Columbia University in New York. He completed a four year orthopedic residency at Catholic Medical Center/Cornell University in 1992. During this time he trained in spinal reconstruction and pediatric orthopedics at NYU/Hospital for Joint Diseases as well as an advanced AO fracture and trauma course. He then completed a one year Joint Replacement Fellowship at Stanford University in PaloAlto . He has been in private practice in Los Gatos, California since 1993.

Dr. Delaney is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Delaney regularly performs advanced arthroscopic procedures including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair, meniscus transplant, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and cartilage replacement procedures. He serves as team physician and orthopedic consultant to several area high schools, semi pro and club sports teams.

Dr. Jon Greenfield is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who has been practicing in West Los Angeles/Beverly Hills for 38 years. Dr. Greenfield is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, the Arthroscopy Board of North America, and the American Academy of Pain Management. He holds surgical certifications in Intradiscal Therapy, CO2 Laser in Arthroscopic Surgery, Holmium YAG Laser in Arthroscopic Knee Surgery, Percutaneous Nucleotomy, Lipotherme Laser Liposuction, and the SVF Investigational Development System (Stem Cell Rejuvenation Therapy). Dr. Greenfield is Medical Director of the Miracle Mile Outpatient Surgery Center in Los Angeles, a team physician for a local high school, and a Qualified Medical Evaluator for industrial injuries in the State of California. He is on the faculty of the University of Southern California Medical School, Physicians Assistant training program. Dr. Greenfield has published research and clinical practice articles in medical journals, and has lectured on various topics related to orthopedic medicine and surgery and the management of chronic intractable pain in the United States and Mexico. In addition Dr. Greenfield holds a MBA degree, is a Certified Public Accountant. The Miracle Mile Outpatient Surgery Center (MMOSC) is a Medicare Certified ambulatory surgery facility dedicated to surgical excellence in a doctor friendly and patient friendly environment. Our 13,000 square foot surgery facility has state of the art equipment, and fully licensed and board certified providers. We have the capacity to meet the needs of most ambulatory surgical and diagnostic procedures, including orthopedics, spinal diagnostics and spine surgery, podiatric, interventional pain management, urologic, plastic/reconstructive, cosmetic, bariatric weight loss, and general surgery. MMOSC has developed specialization programs in minimally invasive spine surgery, bariatric gastric banding surgery, interventional pain management, and stem cell orthopedic and spine rejuvenation therapy. Dr. Howard Rubin is the Chief Executive Officer of the Museum Center Surgery Group, Inc., which owns and operates the Miracle Mile Outpatient Surgery Center. Dr. Howard Rubin is a Board Certified Medical Psychologist and has been practicing medical psychology with sub specialties in pain management, psychopharmacology, bariatric medicine, sports medicine and psychology, and behavioral health since 1971. He is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Academy of Pain Management, a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and has post-doctoral certification in psychopharmacology. Dr. Rubin was appointed to the U.S. Olympic Team medical staff for the Los Angeles games in 1984. He also served on the medical staff of the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Dr. Rubin has an extensive background in academia, has published numerous research articles in professional psychology and medical journals, has made several presentations to professional organizations on such topics as Pain Management, Stress Management, Disaster Response, Child Abuse and Neglect, and Drugs, Alcohol, and World Class Athletes. He has appeared on many local and national radio and television programs including the Today Show. Dr. Rubin is the Clinical Director of the Miracle Mile Outpatient Surgery Center Bariatric Surgery Program.

Dr. Gionis is a United States Fulbright Scholar in Law, a current member of the United States Fulbright PEER Review Committee Member / Global-Public Health; he has been a two-time recipient of being a UCLA Visiting Scholar in Public Health, Department of Health Services, Division of Healthcare Management and Policy, UCLA School of Public Health. Dr. Gionis is also the President and Chairman of the Board of the Fulbright Academy of Law, Peace and Public Health (www.FulbrightAcademyLaw.org) in Washington, D.C; Dean and President of the American University of Sovereign Nations School of Medicine (www.AmericanUniversitySovereignNations.com) and serves as the Surgeon-in-Chief, Irvine Stem Cell Treatment Center and the Miami Stem Cell Treatment Center (www.StemCellsUSA.net). He has also served as a lecturer in the Executive Master of Public Health (MPH) program at the UCLA School of Public Health, where he taught Health Law and Principles of Global Health. Dr. Gionis is a frequent Lecturer in Bioethics, Public Health, Human Research Subject Protection, and International Law at international United Nations UNESCO meetings worldwide. He currently also serves as Vice-Chief of Staff and Emergency Department Director of Coast Plaza Hospital in Los Angeles, Ca. Dr. Gionis has a long and distinguished career in academics. Dr. Gionis has been recognized as the youngest individual in United States to be awarded the medical degree (M.D.); he started medical school at 17, and was awarded the M.D. degree at 21 years of age. He obtained his M.D. degree from the Medical University of South Carolina; J.D. degree (Cum Laude), John Marshall Law School; L.L.M., St. Thomas University School of Law; M.B.A., Pepperdine University Graduate School of Business; M.H.A., Seton Hall University, Center for Public Service; and his M.P.H., University of California, Los Angeles (U.C.L.A.). Dr. Gionis serves as Adjunct Professor in Law, Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Walter H. & Dorothy B. Diamond International Tax Program. He has previously served and taught law as Adjunct Professor in Law (LL.M. program), Walter H. & Dorothy B. Diamond International Tax Program, St. Thomas University School of Law (Miami, Fl), and as Adjunct Professor in Law (JD program) also at St. Thomas University School of Law (Miami, Fl). Dr. Gionis completed his general surgical residency and cardiovascular surgery fellowship at Tulane Medical Center- Charity Hospital, New Orleans, Louisiana, and his Research Fellowship in Emergency Medicine, Harvard University-Massachusetts General Hospital, Department of Emergency Medicine Research (MGH) Boston, and taught advanced trauma life support at Harvard-MGH for 18 years. Dr. Gionis is a former Member of the Board of Directors, American Board of Disaster Medicine, a former Physician Board Examiner for the American Board of Disaster Medicine, and is Fellow, International College of Surgeons; Fellow, American College of Legal Medicine; and, Distinguished Fellow, Royal Society of Fellows.
