The Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Molecular Medicine is home to a world-class team of investigative and clinical faculty that is ranked among the highest in the nation (US News and World Reports #7). Faculty members areas of focus range from molecular endocrinology to metabolic disorders to endocrine genetics supported by over $9 million in annual research funding leading the mission to improve the lives of individuals with diabetes. Through Feinberg-affiliated care sites including our Glenview location, our clinical faculty provide inpatient and outpatient care across all areas of endocrinology. The division provides clinical as well as research training programs, and our senior faculty members have extensive experience mentoring new generations of clinical endocrinologists and physician scientists. As leading experts in diabetes and obesity, we have recently embarked on a campaign to create an inter-disciplinary diabetes center, and we look forward to enhancing our mandate to provide state-of-the-art education, research, and clinical care through Northwestern Medicine for years to come.
